This caliper is designed exclusively for DYISLAND hydraulic disc brake kits as a replacement or upgrade. It comes pre-installed with brake pads but does not include pre-filled brake fluid. ⚠️ Important Note: This brake caliper is supplied without brake fluid pre-installed.
I bought a Bluvall K10 fat tire e-bike. The brakes are DYIsland and seemed to be a good brake but I think Bluvall should have put 4 piston brakes on this bike. It's too much weight for the 2 piston brakes and the caliper started leaking, I purchases the larger brakes and was extremely pleased with the increased size and much larger footprint of the brake pad. Now my bike will lock up with the right amount of pressure. I'm very pleased!
It's a great product and has proven itself, so I've ordered it again.
A word of warning for winter riders: wash the salt off the calipers after each ride. It's a major contributor to corrosion.
